Creating and Posting a Job Ad
As a
registered School or
Recruiter you can post free job ads for your school. Follow these steps to create and post a job ad:
1. Sign in as a registered User or
sign up for a free profile.
2. As a School or Recruiter you should see the
Quick Navigation menu on the left once you are signed in. Here you can click on
Add a Teaching Job.
3. Or as an alternative, click on
Your Profile, go to the
TEACHING JOBS tab, and click on
Add New.
4. Fill in all the required fields (those with a
*) and fill in as much information as you can about your Job Ad:
•
Title of Job Ad * – this is your Job Ad title, the sales pitch for the position. Something like “Teach in Beautiful Taiwan” or “$3500 Starting Salary to Teach in Saudi”.
•
Job Start Date * – this is the date for when the job starts, click on the little box to get a pop-up calendar.
•
Job Start Notes – this is where you can add some details regarding the Job Start Date, perhaps you have several start dates or you recruit teachers all year.
•
Age of Students – tick each box that applies to the age of the students the teacher will be teaching.
•
Salary (min)* – enter the minimum salary here. If you would prefer to negotiate the salary with the teacher or if the Job Ad is for a voluntary position then enter “1” for the salary.
•
Salary (max) – enter the maximum salary for the position.
•
Currency – select the salary currency here.
•
Salary Measure – select whether the salary is per hour, week, month or year.
•
Salary Notes – this is where you can add some details on the Salary such as bonuses offered, whether or not the Salary is negotiable according to qualifications and experience, and so on.
•
Volunteer Position – is this a voluntary position? If so, check this box.
•
Number of Positions * – select how many teaching jobs are available for this Job Ad.
•
Number of Positions Notes – this is where you can add some details regarding the Number of Positions such as “recruitment ongoing”, “2 positions in September and 2 in October” and so on.
•
Duration of Contract * – how long is the teaching position contract for? Select “other” if the contracts vary and make notes in the Duration of Contract Notes.
•
Duration of Contract Notes – add some details on the contract such as “6 month and 1 year contracts available”.
•
Tax Rate – this is where you can specify the tax rate on the Salary for the teaching position.
•
Tax Rate Notes – here you can add notes regarding the Tax Rate.
•
Teaching Hours Per Week – select how many hours the teacher is expected to teach.
•
Teaching Hours Notes – here you can add notes regarding the Teaching Hours.
•
Office Hours Per Week – select how many office hours the teacher is expected to be available for.
•
Office Hours Notes –here you can add notes regarding the Office Hours.
•
Schedule – check all the days the teacher is expected to be working.
•
Schedule Notes – here you can add notes regarding the Schedule such as “Saturdays the hours are 9-12pm”
•
Airfare – check all possible options that you offer for this position.
•
Airfare Notes – here you can add notes regarding the Airfare.
•
Housing – check all possible options that you offer for this position.
•
Housing Notes – here you can add notes regarding the Housing.
•
Paid Vacation – select how many paid vacation weeks are included in the contract.
•
Vacation Notes – here you can add notes regarding the Paid Vacation.
•
Required Qualifications * – check all that apply for the level of education required for this position.
•
Required Nationality – check those that apply for the required nationality for this position.
•
Nationality Notes – here you can add notes regarding the Required Nationality.
•
Must be a Native English Speaker * - select whether or not the position requires a native English speaker or not.
•
Teaching Experience – select what teaching experience is required, if any, for the position.
•
Teacher Certification – select what teaching certification is required, if any, for the position.
•
TEFL Certification * - check off the TEFL Certification requirements for the position.
•
Couples – select whether or not it is ok for the candidate to be traveling with a spouse or friend.
•
Gender Preference – select the gender preference, if any, for the position here.
•
Preferred Age of Teacher – select the age preference, if any, for the position here.
•
Job Description – add more details of the Job here, for example, a description of the School, location, classroom environment, how the candidate should contact the School, and so on.
•
City job is located in * – this is the city location for the School that the Job Ad is for.
•
Country * - select the country location for the School that the Job Ad is for.
•
Contact Person – indicate here who the candidate should contact regarding the Job.
•
Email * - indicate here which email address the candidate should respond to regarding the Job.
•
Phone or Skype – indicate here which phone number or Skype name the candidate can use to contact the Contact Person.
•
Add Website – here you can enter your School or Recruiting Company website address for a
fee.
•
Images Gallery – upload images from your School, the location, the classroom, teachers, and so on. You can upload up to 6 images and they will be resized automatically. Add an Image description if you wish. Click on
Browse, select an image from your computer, and then click on
upload. Use the bar on the right if you can't see the
upload button. Click on the
X to delete the image.
•
Select background image – select a background colour for your Job Ad.
•
Please Select a Category – click and select the country location for the Job Ad and click on the arrows
>>> button to enter the country category. Only 1 country location can be added.
This is a required field.

Send button to add the Job Ad.
