| Although I have not taught English I have a great deal of experience working with children in an environment where I am responsible for the safety and well being of multiple children of various ages. [1-15 children].
In the past I have provided child care in employers homes for hours or days depending on how long the parental guardians are away for. In this position I was responsible for caring for the children, feeding them, clothing, bathing and keeping the children entertained. In other instances in the past I have also worked for summer camps in both a sleep over type setting as well as day camps. In both instances I was responsible for the health and safety of the children, proper behavioral discipline, as well as teaching them arts and crafts, dance, sports, co-operative games, cheerleading, swimming, beading... etc I am a very calm and relaxed individual who loves working with people. I believe my past experience with children will help me within a position teaching english, because I have a good understanding of the reaction of children, as well as a good approach to problem solving. |
