Job Description:

The Seoul Ministry of Education is hiring teacher through several different recruitment agencies.  It is IMPERATIVE that you apply only through one source as application from multiple sources will automatically be rejected.  The government does not want to waste time screening candidates multiple times so please be sure to first pick the organization that you wish to apply through.

Footprints is different to most recruitment agencies in that we have been established in Korea officially since 2001.  We are the largest supplier of public school teachers in South Korea and as a Footprints teacher you become part of one of the largest networks of teachers in the world with opportunities for Alumni Placements in numerous other countries worldwide.

The application process follows these steps:

  1. Apply online on the Footprints Recruiting website: www.footprintsrecruiting.com
  2. Your application will be reviewed by the Footprints Screening Department
  3. If initially accepted you will receive notice by email to arrange for a telephone interview.
  4. If accepted through the interview you will be transferred to a Placement Coordinator.
  5. This Placement Coordinator will work with you to ensure your application to teach with the Ministry of Education in Seoul is complete and that you are prepared to move forward.
  6. Once you are prepared, your application will be submitted to the SMOE for consideration.
  7. The SMOE will communicate with your Placement Coordinator to accept you for an interview or they will communicate that you are not accepted which will be communicated to you and at that point you can consider other options with Footprints.
  8. If accepted for an interview we will work with you to arrange your interview.
  9. If accepted by the SMOE for a teaching job in Seoul after your interview your Placement Coordinator will work with you to coordinate your visa, a pre-departure orientation, ex-pat medical insurance, additional pre-training options, plane ticket, arrival information and housing and your Placement Coordinator will be available throughout the duration of your contract for additional support.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
